Meetings
Most meetings take place over breakfast however this is up to the members. Lunch and early dinner meetings also work. Here is how a breakfast meeting works.
07:30 | Open networking
Catch up with your fellow members and exchange any referrals, leads, tips or recommendations (and discuss sports results, kids, pets, the economy in Japan – anything you like).
07:45 | Welcome/champion update
Your opportunity to position and promote your business to the network.
07:47 | Positioning statements
This is an insight into you, and your business. It is not designed to be a straight sales pitch and not changes every week.
08:05 | Resource Discussion
The Champion facilitates the weeks coaching/education. Open discussions help the learning process and we encourage constructive questions and debate.
08:45 | Board session (optional)
This is where the network discusses one or two pertinent member issues or challenges, and brainstorm potential solutions or alternatives. The outcome can be worth thousands of dollars to your business.
09:00 | Meeting Close

Welcome to the Experience Economy at Converge North Sydney. The topic today was the HBR article on the experience economy – the key message is that you are what you charge for… “You really are what you charge for – if you charge for stuff then you are in the commodity business. Bright sunny morning at Balmoral for the Converge meeting. The discussion was around goals and how effective (and potentially detrimental) they can be. We decided that a focus might work better. What are the key things that the business needs to focus on to achieve the desired outcomes over the next 6 months. Feedback was that it gave better clarity about the ‘what to do’ as well as the ‘what we want to achieve’
